Production of large hull molds for offshore racing boats
CDK Technologies designs and builds racing boats where accuracy, lightness and mechanical strength are crucial. For a new hull project, the objective was twofold: to maintain high technical standards while reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing the large-scale mould. We were chosen to design and produce this tool, including eco-design principles from the outset.

Upstream eco-Design
We integrated eco-design principles into every stage of the project, maintaining a high level of accuracy and technical expertise essential to the boat’s performance. From the design phase, we favoured the use of recyclable materials to reduce the mould’s environmental footprint.
Innovation in materials and processes
We manufactured the almost 100m² mould using a combination of materials to maintain the desired technical properties and dimensional stability.
Infusion technology allows us to integrate recycled materials and natural fibres gradually into our products.
Circular approach
At the end of the project, we set up a network of partners to organize the recycling of used materials, as part of an industrial circular economy.
